Iidu Tikkanen (born 1983 in Jyväskylä) currently lives and works in Tampere, Finland.
Iidu’s artistic work emerge from the awe and wonder of what it is to experience the multisensory world. For her the act of painting is an attempt to visualize the interconnected jazz of all that is. Iidu also uses multidisciplinary methods for exploring the humorous and oh so lovely oddities of existence.
Tikkanen graduated from the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts in 2014 with a Master’s degree. She has taken part in group exhibitions and has held several solo exhibitions in Finland and abroad.
