I am a painter whose work takes inspiration from DIY and urban subcultures, including heavy metal, graffiti and protest posters. The paintings reproduce elements from the streets in a detailed manner, referencing the 'quodlibet' genre of still life painting developed in 17th Century Dutch painting.
