Alex Markwith is a visual artist whose practice merges abstract painting, collage and digital techniques to explore themes of technology, logical systems and power. Currently based in Helsinki, Markwith is originally from the USA and lived in New York for ten years. His work has been shown in over 60 exhibitions worldwide and is held in the permanent collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
