Jesus Shrestha (1991, Nepali visual artist, studio practice in Finland) uses his jarring juxtapositions of incongruous images and styles to point up with special sharpness. Shrestha’s work plays with the paradox on which their art of appropriated matter is poised, its mysterious almost preternatural appearance of originality. Influenced by the transformation of a scattered culture distilling its complexities with his conceptuality Shrestha’s practices embody historical significance and its analogy between variant cultures.
