Distant Summer

Maryam Sajedi is a Helsinki-based visual artist working with printmaking, collage, and artist books. Her practice focuses on handmade papers, textiles, and material processes that explore memory, transformation, and the subtle tension between control and chance. Through tactile works, she reflects on personal and collective experiences, inviting time, light, and space to participate in the creation. Sajedi holds an MFA in Printmaking from the Academy of Fine Arts, Helsinki, and an MFA in Painting and Illustration from the University of Tehran, Iran.
